The Warrior poses - a staple of most yoga classes. So starting kids early on learning the foundational aspects is important! I also really enjoy this class for working on finding balance between the body and the mind, and for clueing kids into the fact that a strong mind is JUST as important as a strong physical body. And after learning the basics, the kids have an opportunity to put what they have learned into a fun flow set the music. There’s a LOT of movement in this class, so the kids will be primed for a more chill game at the end and a long, restful savasana.
